Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision
CHICAGO CULTURAL CENTER
The Chicago Cultural Center hired Glue + Paper Workshop to design, produce, and provide project management for this exhibition catalog that was the culmination of years of curatorial work. The case-bound monograph accompanies a retrospective for Chicago-based photographer Barbara Crane that travels from the Amon Carter Museum to the Cultural Center. Collaborating closely with the artist, Glue + Paper translated Crane's vision into a handsome, well-organised monograph featuring 293 photographs. Combining domestic museum-quality prepress with cost-effective Asian manufacturing allowed Glue + Paper to produce a 258-page book on a tight schedule that is both beautifully printed and competitively priced.
